In a significant stride towards financial empowerment and inclusivity, 100 women from North Bougainville have received their Personal identification cards, enabling them to open accounts with MAMA Bank. This initiative, supported by Hon. Amanda Masono, marks a pivotal moment in enhancing the economic opportunities for women in the region.
Createk Multimedia a locally owned multimedia company specializing in graphic designing, film and video production, digital printing, and photography. As part of their initiative, Createk is excited to take on the project of creating 100 ID cards for women and young women, including more than 60 affiliated members with the Bougainville Women's Federation.
MAMA Bank, known for its focus on community-oriented banking, aims to empower individuals and promote sustainable development in the region. With the newly acquired ID cards, these women can open savings accounts, access loans, and take advantage of financial literacy programs offered by the bank.
